Dr. John Sadoff

Learn what brought Dr. Sadoff to the Metro East and what kinds of conditions he treats.

Meet Cardiothoracic Surgeon Dr. John Sadoff.

Why did you choose a career in medicine?

When Dr. Sadoff was growing up, he used to spend summers with his aunt and uncle. His uncle, who was a radiologist, would take him to his office from time to time, and he had one of the first CT scanners. He remembers being curious about that.

What are some typical issues you treat?

He sees patients with coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and thoracic disease. When he gets a call for someone with one of those issues, he evaluates them and performs the appropriate surgery.

What brought you to the Metro East?

He grew up in Central New York, but when it came time to join a group professionally, Dr. Daily had a need, and Dr. Sadoff had a desire for a partnership.

What do you like to do outside of work?

He likes all sorts of outdoor activities, including golfing when he can. He also plays tennis and spends a lot of time with his kids.
