Meet Cardiothoracic Surgeon Dr. Bill Daily.

Why did you choose a career in medicine?

Dr. Daily knew he wanted to be a doctor starting around the age of 12. He went to medical school at Washington University and was an assistant professor there. About 18 years ago, he came to Belleville.

Why would a patient visit a cardiothoracic surgeon?

Many times they come because they have symptoms and have seen a primary care doctor or cardiologist and a surgical evaluation needs to be done. He then proposes a plan to allow patients to go forward with a longer and better quality of life.

What keeps you coming back day after day?

When he does something where he sees improvement, he sees a life restored. That is the thing that keeps him going.

What do you like to do outside of work?

He likes to golf, work out, and guide his kids.
